Large Basement #2

The largest basement that we have worked on covers 1.55 acres or 6,285 square metres internally, and sits beneath a complex residential development on an irregularly shaped site. This has given the basement an unusual outline, and also a series of different column grids, making it complex relative to subsequent subdivision for parking and service distribution.

However, the sheer scale of the basement is fascinating, with the quality of the concrete and the irregular concrete spaces subsequently created feeling more like a contemporary gallery than an incidental basement.
