QPR Stadium, Loftus Road

The existing stadium was much liked for its atmosphere, but capacity was a limiting factor. There was also a requirement to introduce a much higher quality of experience, with upgraded facilities across the stadium, including the creation of new hospitality suites.

Working within the constraints of the existing site and stadium footprint, the proposal includes the demolition of the existing street frontage, which was made up of a series of smaller structures with independent circulation systems. This opened up the opportunity to create a whole new hospitality building, including expanded and simplified access to the stands. A new high level wing of hospitality was added, which included a transparent canopy to protect the lower tiers. A further high level wing was also added to the south stand, along with optimisation of the existing seating provision.
